You create the perfect site. The design elements are great, colors are on point, and everything is exactly where you want it to be. But all of a sudden, you realize you need to migrate this WordPress website to another dashboard. Umm, what?

You just spent who knows how many hours getting everything perfect. And if you have tried plugins in the past, most undo a lot of your formatting that you spent way too much time figuring out. I have been in that boat and deeply sympathize with all the frustrated women WordPress lovers out there.
I used to be a freelance web designer and now I am put on a few web projects for the company I work for, so migrating WordPress sites can be a handful and I have had some first-hand experience in how frustrating the process can be. It takes up a lot of time and the hassle is not worth it at all whatsoever.
So the solution? It’s simple. And it’s FREE.
Download the All in One WP Migration plugin and then follow the steps below.
1 | Download the All in One WP Migration plugin by clicking here.
Just download this plugin to your computer and then follow the next step!
2 | Install + Activate plugin
Once the plugin is downloaded, upload the zipped file to your WordPress dashboard by going to plugins > add new > upload new. So far, super easy.
3 | Export Website
Hover over the “All in One WP Migration” tab on the left-hand sidebar of your WordPress dashboard. Choose the option “export.”
You should land on a page that looks similar to this. Click the “Export to” green button and choose the “File” option which should be the first one on the list!
Your file is now exporting. Woohoo! While this is exporting, move on to the next step.
4 | Download Plugin to Other Dashboard
So you are currently on the WordPress dashboard that you are wanting to move over to the new dashboard. So while the WordPress design is exporting, open up a new tab and login to your other WordPress dashboard that you are wanting to move your current website to. Once there, upload the All in One WP Migration plugin to this dashboard as well. Just follow steps one + two again but on this dashboard!
5 | Import
It may take awhile for your file to download completely, which is normal so don’t worry! Once your file is downloaded and you see it show up in your finder, drag and drop the file into this box with the dashed border around it. The WordPress file will get all settled in its new home in no time after the import and you are good to go!
6 | Pat Yourself on the Back
I feel like you deserve to pat yourself on the back at this point because you just transferred a whole site to another WordPress dashboard! I’m glad you stuck with me until this point.
Once you are done, your site will officially show up on another URL/Wordpress site just like you had it formatted beforehand.
